"healing has taken up most of his time and attention, and so has repressing The Horrors" - huge mood, Sir.... Gosh I apologise for falling off with things, but I would love to do something fresh with Fitzjames sometime soon, if you'd like! Maybe Ned could accompany him with some bear tracking, or on one of those future treks? Play Guard Dog... he's been craving this lately... (and in his case, he can be a literal dog.. if needed... might be an interesting time for him to reveal his own powers here!)

I'd say that hey, at least they can commiserate, but that'd require talking about feelings instead of pretending they're fine so you know. Alas.

And yes definitely! I'm up for anything, from investigating the bear tracks to just being out exploring or foraging or WHATEVER; there's all sorts of reasons they could either decide to go together or run into each other accidentally while out and about (and accidentally would be an easy way to bring in the wolf thing, if Edward wouldn't just outright admit to it, though however that's revealed James is gonna be jealous. Why does everyone else get to be a wolf???)

What even is talking about feelings? We don't know her!! But oh my god, them accidentally bumping into each other could be really funny and interesting at the same time, since Ned is highly ashamed of his wolfish capability... he miiiight view it as a punishment he fully deserves instead of a useful gift! The most miserable werewolf the land has ever seen..... But it would be a good chance for him to be forced a bit to address some of that with James, whom he is still so set on making a good impression in front of :'D

Lol they're so stupid I love them and I love this idea. Poor Ned's so ashamed of the wolf thing and worried about looking bad and James is just like HEY why does everyone get to have powers but ME I wanna be a wolf >:c The dichotomy.

But yes good perfect! I'm definitely trying to get an open log up tomorrow and I could do a toplevel of just like, being out exploring and he could run into wolf!Ned there, if that works for you?

You juuuust missed the boat (pun intended) on wolf powers Sir, but you might have your chance sometime in the future for them!! The prettiest wolf this land has ever seen.... It'll be so funny to see Ned react to James not wigging out so much about it, though. It might even teach him some chill about it! If Commander Fitzjames himself doesn't think it's so terrible.... maybe it isn't.....

And that sounds perfect, I'll absolutely hop in there!

I was going to make a joke about him being a wolf with long wavy brown fur, and then got to google image searching, and realized there are Iberian wolves native to Portugal and it's just a little too perfect maybe I WILL give him moontouched whenever it comes back around as an option...

He will definitely be encouraging!!! And sure, James is not always the best gauge for approval = actually good thing, but in this case maybe it is. There's definitely worse things that could happen than being able to turn into a wolf!

Ohhh my god that's perfect in all aspects??? I personally will be here supporting wolf!Fitzjames And if you do end up giving him that ability, he can join the Terror!wolfpack that is currently just Ned and Hickey... It's the weirdest club right now!

I love how Ned does take his opinion of everything SO seriously, so it might really help his self-perception there. Accept it, Ned.... be the dog you were always meant to be....
