It seems to be some version of Earth, but I'm not sure what's going on beyond this "Canada" we're trapped in. Or if the "original occupants" who died here were actually the original occupants at all. In which case, you bring up a good point... It could be that it belongs to us aliens now.

Are you familiar with Earth?

Not beyond what I've been told by people who come from Earth. So far as I can determine, Earth isn't in my galaxy. We call ours the Silver Coil, although that likely doesn't help much.

It must be harder for Earthers, I think. If you haven't just traveled a great distance, but to another timeline. If that's what it is. That was theoretical physics back home, not my specialist field.
