Uh… High five and an invite to the book club I made up just this minute? I get ‘you’d have actual thoughts about Crime and Punishment’ vibes and that’s intended as a compliment.

I've— never actually read it. But I... think I get the vibe...?

Oh, I didn’t assume you had, it’s giant. Just, you seem like someone who thinks about things and might be good for a long read? It’s good, though. Depressing, but it really digs into ideas of morality and redemption and goodness, and that things like “the good of the many” can sound better than they are?

I found a copy here back in…August, in one of those bunkers, along with some poems and philosophy, and I hadn’t really read it either, just skimmed back when I was shotgunning classics for the GREs. So I worked my way back through.

Anyhow. I was mostly just being weird but I do have a copy if you ever want to read about some deeply conflicted Russians. Or just chill and not die or…anything else.
