Honestly would love for these two to have a sort of rocky friendship along the way. She's more than happy to bully him into helping out around town and taking care of himself.

He's already helping! Just in a way that keeps him completely guarded from being included in the community!

But yeah absolutely. His natural inclination toward going out of his way to bother people about their problems is pretty dulled from questioning if he's even a hero anymore, but I think he might in turn try to get Ruby to stop hiding from her problems. Also, they could hunt together.

Yeah. She's sort of isolating herself to stop her from having to talk about that with everyone. So having someone like Damian kick her about that would be good. Maybe they can end up getting some more confidence in themselves together down the road.

Damian is a good friend to have if you want someone who will keep it real with you even if the truth isn't what you want to hear, so he's pretty good at giving people a kick. He's also very ride or die.
