Aurora Feat: Lightbringer

Wanted CR: Anything! Friends, fuck buddies, frenemies, frenemies with benefits, hunting partners (willing or unwilling), mystery-solving partners (willing or unwilling)... just Lalo inserting himself into everyone's business whenever he feels like it, whether they want him there or not. People who like to gamble.
Unwanted CR: I love negative CR, but in a game with permadeath, I want to make sure it's sustainable negative CR for both characters. Lalo is absolutely the type to kill you and make it look like an accident if you dick him over badly enough, so I want to make sure whatever happens won't result in him trying to kill the other character/the other char trying to kill him, at least for now.

Day to Day: Idk man fucking everywhere? At night, he's usually in his house on the outskirts and typically keeps to himself because he likes having his own time to think, although sometimes he might go wandering at night if it gets the brain juices flowing and he probably slept at the Community Center for the first few days after he got back with Methuselah. During the day he can be found pretty much anywhere. Not a vampire but still never fucking sleeps.

The Story So Far / Plans: He got very injured! He's still healing from it. Then had a bad trip and destroyed Louis's table. Whomp whomp. I'd like to explore what having to rely on others means for him, because he's usually very self-sufficient. At the same time, I'd like to get him more integrated into the wider community at large, since Lalo is the type of person to want to have his grubby-ass fingers in E V E R Y T H I N G.

Oh! I like the idea of him hosting some kind of poker night or something too, if that's something people are interested in! Hmu.

Aurora Feat: Free Runner. Goes fast, very hungry

Wanted CR: Friends! Mentors! Mentees! Hunting buddies! People to get into trouble with, people to pull out of trouble. Ruby is a bubbly shonen type teenager. She's pretty easy to get along with but at the same time can be a lot to handle. Comes pretty naturally to positive and negative CR.
Unwanted CR: Not a huge fan of negative cr for the sake it. But we can always discuss this.

Day to Day: Ruby doesn't live in the community center but she does stop by there a lot to hang out/help out where she can. She can also often be found patrolling the town or out hunting. She generally works herself pretty hard and is bad at taking care of herself day to day.

At the same time she will make an effort to have set up and do something fun to try and take the tension off the darker the things that happen around town.

She is just a teenager putting too much on her shoulders and trying her best.


The Story So Far / Plans:

Ruby's mostly been doing her best to sort of find her niche around town. She is making a solid effort to help out where she can, while also sort of keeping an arms length from getting into her own issues.

The biggest thing at the moment is she is taking Max under her wing to teach how to be a Huntress like she is. So she might look for other people to train with her at some point.

As such she now has an active interest in finding a place where she can do some metal work and make her friend a cool weapon. She'd probably fall into starting to make things to help out around town too if she got the chance.

Notable CR: Edward Little (canonmate), Thomas Jopson (ditto), Francis Crozier (ditto), Cornelius Hickey (canonmate and sworn enemy), Billy Gibson (canonmate and locus of guilt), Kate Marsh (friend/surrogate sister/locus of displaced guilt), Levi Jordan (newly minted assistant), Rorschach (feral cat), Wynonna Earp (patient). Numerous others have approached him for medical help and/or offered him assistance. Anyone who was party to the autopsy will also know him.

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Plant and animal biology, including some foraging experience.
- Care and handling of animals, both domestic and wild.
- A knack for picking up languages.
- Ability to perform medical procedures and autopsies.
- Caveat: he predates germ theory, anaesthesia, and Darwin's On the Origin of the Species. He's a quick study and willing to educate himself and has made a lot of progress in catching up, however.

Wanted CR: All the things. Friends, not-friends, people who need help with things medical, fellow science nerds ... literally anything.
Unwanted CR: He already comes pre-packaged with a mortal enemy, but otherwise no preferences or dislikes.

Day to Day: Most of the time you'll find him at his cabin, where he's available for anyone who needs medical assistance. Sometimes he ventures into town on a scavenging mission. Now that there's hot springs, he also goes there from time to time, but he tries his level best to only go alone.

The Story So Far / Plans: He's found a purpose as the village medic, and he's also discovered a streak of righteous anger and determination to not give in to despair the way he did before. The way he sees it, this is a chance for him to balance the scales on everything he did or didn't do in the Arctic. He still suffers guilt and nightmares, but he has grown less depressive and more outgoing. Having canonmates is a bit of a mixed blessing, and he is still in a state of cold war with Hickey.

Very excited for Goodsir and Fraser to hang in their current thread! They deserve to nerd out about things together.

100% need more Wynonna and Goodsir interactions. No doubt she'll get herself hurt again somewhere, but she'd also volunteer to go foraging with him or go searching around for more medical supplies/books that would be useful.

Notable CR: Nothing at the moment, which is by design — she's playing things very close to the vest, so she's not really allowing anyone to get super close to her. Should be worth noting she's spent time in the company of March, Fraser, Raju, Bigby, and Lalo recently, to name a few, but nothing beyond conversations that might have been noted from afar.

Aurora Feat: Lightbringer

Wanted CR: Basically everything and anything at the moment! Friends (aka people she pretends to let in to a certain degree while still keeping them at arm's length), friends (aka people who manage to worm their way in closer to her despite her attempts to keep them at a distance), friends with benefits (she's not opposed to enjoying herself with a pleasant diversion every once in a while, even though she's still hung up on her ex), conversation partners, people she can manipulate, people who are smart enough to eventually uncover the truth about her (even though I'm mostly interested in having Lanfear play the long game for the moment, though this could change under the right circumstances!).

Unwanted CR: Negative CR is a possibility, but she's doing her best to remain as pleasant as possible, so it's less likely. I'd also like to avoid anyone outright attempting murder, since she doesn't have the One Power to heal herself from mortal injuries and permadeath would put a real crimp in her style. Additionally, true romantic CR might be tough to swing with her (given the aforementioned ex), but not something I'm ruling out entirely, just more of an impossibility at the present time.

Day to Day: She doesn't make herself as visible as others here, but she does pop up in various places around Milton from time to time — the Community Center, the hot springs, walking to and from the house she's shacking up in, occasionally popping in to visit others when she's extra bored.

The Story So Far / Plans: Not much, other than making herself known to other interlopers! She tried to reach out to the Darkwalker for some quality facetime (a real "senpai, notice me" moment), since the suspicion is that this might be her boss the Dark One in disguise, but was rebuffed for her efforts. Rude! Anyway, she's biding her time and waiting for the right opportunity to make another attempt, because why not ally yourself with the enormity of some dark presence that brings on immense feelings of death, amirite?

He’s just chilling now and doing his best, but this is my game to just let him go feral in and I’d kind of like to lean into that and have him to just go fully unhinged one of these days, tbh. Notable CR: Cornelius Hickey + Eddie Munson (his besties!! his boys!!), Holland March (dad-like figures), Edward Little (the Nanny), Bigby Wolf (fellow 'not quite fully human, uncle-shaped??), Levi Jordan (fellow teen), Ruby Rose + Max Mayfield (younger, sister-shaped teens he's getting feels over). Plus a few more, Kieren's got a fair chunk of CR tbh.

Skills: Perceptive. Artistic. Empathetic. Undead. (I guess it's a skill?)
Aurora Feat: Free Runner. As a zombie, Kieren doesn't eat as food/drink is toxic to him. However, he's able to eat brains (animal or human). With gaining the Free Runner Feat, he's now started feeling hunger for the first time since he was medicated and will now require brains to sustain himself.

Wanted CR: Anything and everything. Friends would be great. Kieren's a sarcastic little shit when he wants to be and is still just a teen, but also just having people to hang with. Anyone who's Not Quite Human would be dope, given Kieren's... whole deal. Kieren's also one of the Modern Kids (he's from 2013) so he's pretty good at explaining modern living, tbh.

Unwanted CR: I prefer not to have negative CR for the sake of it, that being said — people finding out Kieren's a zombie and initially not being okay with it is 100% something I'm down for. I'm also not actively looking for romance. Kieren's not really in the right head-space for it, considering he's not long after losing the love of his life. But it's not completely off the table. It will require a whole lot of slowburn, considering how much baggage Kieren comes with.

Day to Day: Kieren keeps to himself, for the most part. He lives alone and is basically just... trying to keep his head down. He is desperately trying to blend in and not be noticed. He's around Milton doing a lot of menial work like firewood gathering and the like, the cold doesn't bother him all that much due to his inability to feel, but he does notice he does need to take care of himself to make sure he doesn't end up with frostbite. Good thing he wraps up a lot, anyways.

The Story So Far / Plans: Kieren's had a rough time of it so far. In January, he had his own Visitor — which led him to wandering around without his cover up mousse that keeps him looking just like everyone else (alive) and also drinking (bad for zombies) and generally causing a nuisance and not really caring all that much. It's highly likely you might have seen him in passing wandering about town. That whole 'keeping head down and not be noticed' just got blown out of the water, y'all.

In February he's starting to have the repercussions of his condition and having an Aurora Feat come into play. Kieren doesn't eat, as an undead, however his Free Runner trait means he's going to need food to sustain him. He's been spending a good chunk of the month ill due to it: weak, dizzy, fatigued, generally showing signs of starvation. Eventually he does have to force himself to eat animal brains (rabbits + deer, plus basically anything else he can get) in order to keep himself 'healthy'. Problem being he's resorted to stealing in the middle of the night because this boy just cannot ask for help normally, I guess. Can you even blame him?

In addition, when the Sailor Fight breaks out in the middle of town, Kieren's 100% going to be throwing himself in there to defend his boy Hickey. He's gonna be either just... getting stuck in there (scary) or trying to defuse the situation (also scary, probably won't work but he's gonna try).

Wanted CR: always more friends! There's a very high possibility some of Hickey's crimes will become known to the general population soon, so anyone of slightly less than stellar morals who would be willing to hear him out when the news drops would be appreciated.
Unwanted CR: No romance! Hickey's husband is here! He is 100% Billysexual at the moment.

Day to Day: Hickey spends most of his mornings and/or afternoon romping around the woods, tromping through the forest, catching small animals and/or fish for dinner. He'll occasionally bring dried meat or canned goods to the community center because he's a GOOD PERSON. Nights are spent cuddling Billy.

The Story So Far / Plans: Hickey's been focused on keeping his head down, keeping himself and his men alive, preparing for the inevitable (we are going to run out of food here and he KNOWS it), and being weird about the Darkwalker/every supernatural occurrance here. There is a very high possibility that he's going to have some of his dirty secrets revealed (he and Kate got into a fight, she ran to tattle to Little and Jopson like a NARC, Jopson is absolutely going to punch him in retaliation) so when that happens, I fully expect people to ask him so many questions based on the secrets.

I'd love for Hickey and Wynonna to interact again, whether before or after His Secrets come out! She doesn't have any idea that he's a thorn in the side of a bunch of her CR, which I find extremely funny.

Fraser would also be perfectly willing to help Hickey with trapping/hunting/skinning/managing resources! He's building smokers and is always more than happy to share his survival knowledge.

Zoey Westen | Original Character

Residence: A four bedroom (probably) multi-story house on Basin Overlook.
Notable CR: Bigby, Rorschach. She met Fraser recently. She sort of broke Levi with some multiverse talk. Oops? She’s a pain in Louis’ ass occasionally, since she cottoned to the fact he was a vampire right off the bat. She met Crozier, too. Did I forget someone? Possibly.
Skills:
• Expert fighter: Zoey is highly skilled with most bladed weapons, as well as staves and crossbow and bow and arrow. On top of that she's also nimble and flexible; having been doing gymnastics and aerial silks since she was but a tiny child.
• Survival skills: She's decently knowledgeable in things like foraging (and knowing what's edible), fire building, reinforcing building. She's built a still before, too, after watching too many reruns of MASH while tipsy. And it's not the only way she knows how to make booze. (It's not precisely survival, but it'll be useful all the same.)
• First aid/medical know how: she knows the basics of first aid, as well as more... older/natural methods of wound care and pain management, that sort of thing. She's a historical font of knowledge.
• Stealth: She's highly skilled at moving silently and going unseen. (Also lockpicking, which isn't stealth exactly, but is roguish stealth-adjacent, in a way.)
• Sewing: She's learned over the years how to make her own clothes, how to patch up clothes that she already has. Piece together parts of different pieces of clothing.

Aurora Feat: Lightbringer!

Wanted CR: FRIENDS! Definitely friends. Found family (or the starts of it, of course XD). Hunting/exploring/patrol buddies. Not opposed to lovers/romance but that’s a slow burn sort of thing that she’s not going to be consciously seeking out or thinking about at all. But if it fits I ship if there’s chemistry and it happens I’m here for it. Maybe roommates in the future? She’s going to have to know someone a little first though.

Unwanted CR: Negative CR for the sake of negative CR. Negative CR for a reason is fine! Although I’d like the chance to slow burn that to something a little less negative if possible. No mortal enemies, please.

Day to Day: Zoey’s still exploring and researching and taking meticulous notes about everything on the regular. And roaming around on rooftops as she does. The map she’s been working on in the house she’s claimed is getting more developed, and she’ making sure she has supplies to continue painting it. Also she’s gathering pieces for a M*A*S*H-style still.

She tries to gather supplies from nature and hunting/fishing fairly regularly, too. (She’s better at fighting people than animals, but she does all right. Helps that she’s a stealthy motherfucker.)

The Story So Far / Plans: She fell through a floor and got pretty hurt. She’s currently trying to deal with that and hide the fact that she’s injured from people. Also working on honing her Lightbringer skills. Because she’s nothing if not determined. And used to having powers and knowing how to work on controlling them. The Visitor part of the event fucked her up bad, to, and she’s still working her way back to herself, fully.

She’s got a map in the works on the wall in her home, as well as a conspiracy wall and a wall of formulas and such that she copied over from Five before he left.

Unwanted CR: I'm pretty down with whatever! Wynonna's a good option if you want negative CR, whether of the 'we'll work through it' or the 'we're blood enemies forever' variety. She's reckless, heedless, and hot-tempered, so if you need someone to make a bad situation worse, she's your gal. All I ask is please no murdering.

Day to Day: Wynonna can generally be found at her cabin, helping out Goodsir or Jopson, or by the Basin.

The Story So Far / Plans: Wynonna had a rough January, during which she fell deep into depression/trauma spirals and had to be pulled out again by Kate, Bigby, Jopson, and Goodsir. She lost her temper at Little, let Louis bite her, and had a drunken hookup with March. Post-Visitor, she's more likely to interact with people, though reluctantly. Currently, she's having an awkward post-hookup conversation with March and making up with Little. She's starting to think more about getting her shit together re: hunting or trapping, and is also thinking about trapping her cabin, so that certain teen boys will think twice about breaking in again. I think she'll probably get dragged into the Milton Law Enforcement Team, much to her annoyance.

I'm down to explore anything organically, but in the long-term I'd love for him to develop some Dadly Feelings.... fellow 'monsters' — Konstantin is regarded as a Hero back where he's from (80's Soviet Russia, literally, he has a medal....) and now deals with themes such as being a fallen hero, being a monster, "if the thing inside me feeds on humans, does that also make me A Cannibal & Murderer", etc.... In Singillatim, he will be keeping it satisfied with the brains/blood of animals, but that in itself will be very difficult for him to grapple with! I'd love to explore his newfound journey of "being a Monster" with other characters who might have experience or angsts with this kind of thing.

Day to Day: Kostya sticks pretty close to home, due to his Alien Situation and also a lingering paranoia that he'll be found and recaptured by the scientists & military who were using him as an experiment. He's been dealing with a lot of "Feeling Useless" angsts, but starting up the little grouse farm will help a bit with that.... He can often be found taking walks / jogging in attempt to stay in shape, and exploring the town but trying to stay lowkey about it. He's also been trying to learn about the various people here and where they're from... try to draw some patterns or connections. On Aurora Nights he's often out trying to work with the technology that temporarily functions, and he's been bringing back various pieces of technology such as car, phone, & computer parts to tinker with.... trying to see what he can do with them

The Story So Far / Plans:

• still pretty new to Milton, so he's been trying to adjust.... recovering as best as he can from being brought back from a fatal gunshot wound to the gut, but also dealing with the fact His Worm can't heal him here and that his own condition is Consistently Bad

She is trying to keep this under wraps because she doesn't trust a lot of people (and she keeps breaking into Lalo’s house) but back in January, she got blackout drunk trying to keep Wynonna from drinking too much (made sense at the time) so during that time she was really loud and falling over on her front step. All this to say feel free to know where she lives but she’ll be mad about it.
Notable CR: The Terrible Man Collection so far includes Lestat (he is giving her hunting lessons and also maybe chewing on her a little), Lalo (nemesis but in like a fun way), Hickey (gave her a piece of his chomped up rabbit).
Potential marks: Louis and Fraser (RIP).
People she feels the need to look out for a bit: Levi (he's clever but he's just a kid), Billy (currently having baby’s first coming out experience and shaking like a leaf), Kieren may wind up here too depending on how their brain-eating thread shakes out.

Wanted CR: Casting a wide net here but in particular: friends (both enablers and morality buddies), enemies (this is the new more self-sacrificing Chloe but she's still self-centred in a way that will turn some people off, also she’ll go to bat for the terrible men collection in most circumstances), people with weird food situations (she knows vampires and zombies are real now and she has her own supernatural hunger so she's kind of interested in this stuff), people she can give the worst advice in the world.
Unwanted CR: She's much more of a fucked up situations person than a romantic one - I don't mind her starting up some careless relationships though (especially if it makes someone else jealous or otherwise mad at her, she loves being the centre of attention). Also she's not a big fan of authority (scared people will try to control and/or punish her) so any CR between her and any of the law enforcement types is likely to be at least a bit negative, if that's not your thing.

Day to Day: Chloe loves running, especially now with her new power, so she's making herself into a local cryptid running around in the woods eating rabbits. Also anywhere there’s music (Eddie’s concerts, general store on aurora nights), or working on her little newspaper sorting project at the library.

The Story So Far / Plans: Chloe had a relatively mild January compared to some: she had a few adventures in Milton House but never even saw the kids and didn't have her own visitor. However, she did get the Free Runner aurora feat, which is causing her a lot of problems because she can't help but go fast. Stealing food from Lalo’s house isn't cutting it anymore which is driving her to learn to hunt (from an incredible spectrum of people including Fraser and Lestat). Thanks to this she's a lot more accepting about the weird shit she's finding out is real (zombies, vampires, whatever the hell Kostya has going on) because isn't it all like her own weird hunger in the end? (no)

I don't have a lot of concrete plans for this month but I would love to Cause Problems On Purpose if that's on offer anywhere.

So lately he is offering to help with basically anything because it gives him something to do.

The Story So Far / Plans: Since the dream with Gro-goroth the Darkwalker and La'an's death, he's been offering gun lessons if anyone wants to learn. Ammo is limited so it'll be largely how to hold and shoot with sparse target practice.

Character Name: Vasiliy Yegorovich Ardankin. He introduces himself to others as Vasiliy; characters may hear those close to him (only Konstantin, at this point) address him by his diminutive, Vasya, but if they try it when they haven't been explicitly invited to use it, it'll rub his fur the wrong way and clock as overfamiliar.
Canon: Original character. Info sheet here; the basic beats are—

Vasiliy is a Soviet ex-interrogator, fervent communist, and revenant–born in 1910, he served in Nikolai Yezhov’s NKVD from 1936-1940 as a ‘good cop’ interrogator responsible for emotional manipulation in the distinctly Soviet split style interrogation system: instead of beating confessions out of prisoners, Vasiliy approached them casually and with kindness, expressing sympathy and emphasizing that it was in their best interest (and their family’s) for them to sign the falsified confessions that would ultimately get them jailed or shot outright, justifying it to himself with the belief they’d be tortured until that happened anyway. When Yezhov fell from Stalin’s favor and was jailed and executed, the NKVD was purged just as it had been during Vasiliy’s time, and he was arrested, interrogated, and executed as an enemy of the state. Notable CR: Vasiliy's CR circle is pretty limited so I'm looking to expand it! Right now the only person close to him is Konstantin, cosmonaut/Hero of the Soviet Union/alien parasite host/his Dream Man TM, whom he's been generally keeping an eye on, providing medical care and companionship, etc.

Skills:

• Emergency Medical Technician-Basic: Vasiliy's been an EMT-B for about a year now, and can handle trauma cases on his own. He lacks diagnostic skill.
• Persuasion/Emotional Manipulation: Vasiliy is very, very good at appearing nonthreatening, being disarming, and persuading others; this ability made him a very talented interrogator.
• Marksmanship: Having been a Chekist, he's trained to handle and fire a handgun; he's more comfortable with a revolver than a semi-automatic, but can use either. Compared to the general population, he has a great aim; compared to his coworkers, he's about average—he's not on a sniper's level of skill, but he can be reasonably expected to hit a moving target in the chest if that's where he chooses to aim, for example.
• Interrogation: He's interrogated hundreds of people, and is excellent at convincing people to give him information—even if they have to invent it to do so.
• Hand-to-hand combat: Despite being (by modern American/Canadian standards) shorter of stature at 5'7", Vasiliy's a good fighter. He's not a master, but he knows enough about critical points and technique from his training in the NKVD to drop someone and/or get their arms behind their back very quickly—with the physical strength to back it up.
• Ice Skating: Feels relevant to mention given the setting. Vasiliy's been ice skating every winter since he was very little, so he's great at it.

Aurora Feat: None. Aside from being frozen in time, he's a normie.

Wanted CR: Friends! Collaborators! Vasiliy's genuinely very collectivist and has a strong desire to be helpful, so that provides an easy opening for interactions of the group of people trying to survive together variety. He's also an EMT, so he can provide emergency medical care when needed, and I'd love for him to get some CR-in-law based on people who know Konstantin - in general, he's a lot more outgoing and less paranoid than Vasiliy, which provides a good vehicle for him to get to know new people after getting a feel for them by watching someone else interact with them first. He put up a notice advising others of his availability in medical emergencies, which could be an 'in' for CR.

Unwanted CR: Romance — he is embarrassingly infatuated with Kostya and it's very, very gradually headed toward a relationship.

Day to Day: Vasiliy can usually be found helping around wherever people need a hand, providing medical assistance to people who are injured, or in his cabin. Of late, he'll be seen around town salvaging materials - see below.

The Story So Far / Plans: Vasiliy's had a quiet few months, mostly keeping to himself and focusing on surviving and contributing to the collective where he can. He's offered medical aid to a few different members of the community, and that was how he made his first real friend here and since returning to the world of the living. He's started to socialize a bit more in non-pragmatic circumstances, and attended the grand opening of the General Store.

At present, he's getting together the necessary materials to put together a makeshift grouse coop to keep and breed them as a source of blood to feed the alien parasite living in his roommate and a source of food for himself and Konstantin's still-human body.

Anything Else?: God I have really fallen off the bus with him this winter but I'm looking to get back into the swing of things and build some CR for him now that life's calmed down a bit!!

The Story So Far / Plans: While he made a little stir for himself when he arrived, Jopson very quickly moved into a routine. He was happy with helping and found his niche by sliding into a bit of obscurity. He likes to be in the background, not making any noise or raising a fuss.

He ended up telling Wynonna the story about his mother (though he left out the part that she actually died because - well, that was a lot of information to dump on someone and he didn't want to burden her) and that helped a lot!

He's been mostly quiet lately, but this fight's gonna shake things up. A lot. He helps and he keeps to himself and he's been assisting Goodsir in keeping an eye on Hickey. Really, his days are very monotonous because he likes it that way. The structure and the predictability are comforting for him. He likes to have a routine so he hasn't been shaking anything up.

Day to Day: Crozier keeps to a fairly strict schedule. He wakes up early and roams varying parts of the town and the outskirts each day. He gathers resources and brings them to the Community Center and other areas that are more heavily populated. He used to go back to his igloo, but he's probably going to float around a bit for a while. He isn't social, and it's on purpose.

The Story So Far / Plans: Crozier continues to not know what to do with himself. He's in denial about how desperate he is to do right by these people, and the more CR he gathers the more it'll pain him to keep distancing himself. He's recently come across a string of bad luck and wound up inadvertently letting nuggets of information slip that he'd been intended on taking to his grave. His igloo fell over and peepaw broke some ribs. :c

He's as lost as everyone else is regarding who he thinks he is-- this is a small community and running from truths is proving... messy. And idiotic. Day to Day: Tim has Business To Attend To, and firmly believes he'll sleep when he's dead. His time is currently spent mostly around the Farms on the Milton outskirts, where he's playing with modifying the watering system for the animals and experimenting with making mechanical improvements to his environment via steam power. He's got it in his head to create a basic science lab or sorts, thanks to La'an's passing, the autopsy, and Damian's push to investigate tissue and blood samples for toxins.

The Story So Far / Plans: Tim... has bunnies. His rabbit breeding operation has (shockingly!!!) been doing well, and having moved to the outskirts of town to the Farm has him somewhat removed from the big hubbub of town... yet he still finds himself on everyone's shit list eventually. It's a gift. He's a remorseless scavenger for dumped electronics and has little to no qualms on breaking and entering; he tries to haul surplus wood and supplies to the community stores. His colony of rabbits has finally grown to where he can begin to really offer up the meat and furs for tough times, or for people who otherwise can't afford to hunt or trap for themselves. He's very proud to have figured out a way to create an eternal fire of sorts-- anyway sleep is for the week and he has nightmares and he misses home and he wants murder and he's wrecked with guilt and his one job is to figure out a way back home... why does he keep getting sidetracked??1!

Lalo is very understanding and inclined to get along with many different types of personalities! He might push him to talk a little bit, but he'd be quick to back off when it became obvious that wasn't working. He likes figuring people out, so he doesn't mind being patient with people.

This is partly because he's also The Worst so like, he pretty much never has room to judge. But like. Details. If they hit it off, he can def be a Tim to English translator, probably in exchange for Tim keeping him from doing... many of the completely batshit insane things he's wont to do without adult supervision, honestly. (Tim is the adult.)

Day to Day: Jason's just hanging out so far. His survival skills were basically null coming in and he's only really getting the hang of the basics, but he's an extremely active person, and can often be found around the town and will probably offer to help with things if people need it. He's also pretty frequently around the bunny farm or the hot springs.

The Story So Far / Plans: Jason spent late January dealing with visitor and therefore crippling depression, which will likely have a few hangover effects that he's going to do his best to ignore, considering he was pretty much dealing with crippling depression before showing up too. February, he's discovered the mushrooms and spent as much time as possible in a happy drugged stupor until finding out they're not all fun drugs, which is an open post that will be up... soon.

Anything Else?: Life has been kicking my ass and I am definitely Behind, but I'm hoping to catch up and put up a post this coming week and dive back into it when I stop being quite so sick, so thanks for bearing with me. >

I can absolutely see Space Dad here wanting to keep an eye out on Jason after meeting him in the Visitor thread. He had no idea there were so many Sad Teenagers around this place and he's feeling some kind of way about it!

Wanted CR: Any, all. I'd love to strengthen and develop his relationships with the people he's already met, but new stuff is good too! Raju can be polite, he can be stubborn, he can be a passive aggressive bitch, he can be helpful, anything that lets me elaborate on the different sides of him is good.
Unwanted CR: Probably romance, unless something really compelling just happens. He might have to accept that he's not going back home to his fiancee before that happened though, which isn't something I want him accepting just yet. Got to get him all tortured and stressed about it for a while first.

Day to Day: Sleeps in the Community Hall in one of the beds closer to the fire, goes outside as long as he can stand the cold to wander around the forest climbing trees, getting firewood, halfheartedly foraging for shit he's not going to find enough of. Sits in the hall writing in his journal and sewing the blanket he's using as a coat when it's too cold to be out. Peaces out every few days to hole up in a random abandoned cabin for a day and wash all his things and himself and meditate and pray and shit while he waits for his clothes to dry.

The Story So Far / Plans:
- Not sure if I'll have the get up and go to seek out many threads about the mushroom stuff, which is a shame. I don't want to start too much new stuff at this very moment, but if anyone has Weird Mushroom plans you want to do with Raju, hit me up.
- He's just had to stop denying the fact that he has weird unexplainable superpowers but he's trying so hard to pretend he's still denying it, like, he doesn't want One More Weird Thing especially one that's inside of him, and he hasn't realised yet that said superpower makes him less likely to notice when he's been out in the cold for too long (makes him feel the cold less, but it effects him exactly as it would have before).
- He refused to use the hot spring when it opened up, not wanting to get used to being warm only to go out in That Damn Cold again, so someone forcing him to enjoy himself there could be cute.
- He's been avoiding eating meat here but knows he can't/probably shouldn't live off canned shit forever, so he's going to have to learn how to hunt eventually and he knows that. If someone wants to take him fishing, he would love that. At first. And then get very bored and restless and fidgety. (He's preparing himself to learn to trap animals too, but I might start with fishing until the food situation gets desperate)

Still very much enjoying the Complicated Conversations that these two have gotten up to, and I imagine that thread will probably be coming to a close pretty soon (man have they talked about so much good stuff). I'm definitely looking forward to a fresh encounter whenever the opportunity arises, and seeing what else comes from these two guys in general!

At least, despite her initial brisk-ness, she's actually pretty easy to get along with if you give her the basest level of attention.

Day to Day: She's been out at the gas station, trying to turn it into a more livable space. This mainly involves trying to construct better doors on all openings.

Every so often, she gets lonely enough to venture into town and just. awkwardly try to join in whatever the locals are up to. Sometimes it goes well. Other times, it doesn't.

The Story So Far / Plans: Uzi has been, often times, on her own here. She's unused to this many (living) humans around her, and the lack of threat she's accustomed to has thrown her off severely. She's spent a lot of time just coming to terms with where she is and what she can do about all this.

With most technology useless, she's been forced to try and adapt what she knows, which isn't much. That'll draw her back into the fold of the town, hopefully to find some more appropriate life skills.

Day to Day: NIGHT TO NIGHT. Louis is allergic to the sun. He watches the General Store several nights a week, but he also has to go out hunting and foraging for stock. He tries to get people to watch the counter by day if he can.

The Story So Far / Plans: General Store Grand Opening. Feel free to handwave that your character noticed this. So far, there has been a food safety incident (mushrooms), a small fire, and a scuffle. Fitting that such an innocuous location be the site of chaos. We should do the hot springs next.

Anything Else?: I'm not really looking for new threads before the next event, but I thought I'd post an update here. Milton now has a store! With weird hours! Yay! I keep a static info post about the store in his journal.
