Glad you could be here! We hope you have a great time here in the Quiet Apocalypse. Don't lose too many fingers, this weather bites. Wow, no way do I deserve that compliment, but thank you so much! ♥ I 100% share your fury though. I have so many people I would just gift a DVD of the show to. It makes me sad that I can't spread the Ted Lasso love more... Damn you, Apple.

Anyway, I've not seen the Strange New Worlds series (though I feel like I ought to watch it for the good-looking cast, and I am a fan of the movies). Your girl seems super interesting and I'm really enjoying our TDM thread so far!

I'm in the hell stage of "I don't want to have to call customer service to get my Apple ID working again" but I need to rewatch this show... Ugh, why are you like this, Apple!

I am very biased and will highly encourage checking out Strange New Worlds, obviously. It's a prequel to the Kirk era and introduces a lot of the characters we know and love from that time, and is just a lot of fun while having plenty of feels and heartbreak. Plus, there's only 20 episodes right now, so it's very easy to binge. (Bonus: have a little clip of my workaholic girl.)

And I'm having a lot of fun with our TDM thread! Very happy to keep that going and count it as canon, if you are.

I only fell in love with the show a few months ago but it's easily become a comfort show for me now and I'm gonna have to keep my Apple subscription to rewatch it a third time.

Oooh, I didn't know it was a prequel to the Kirk era, that's good to know, thank you! "People are idiots" is very much something Roy would say so I approve of that clip.

Happy to continue and keep it as canon too. I'll be getting back to TDM threads tomorrow so expect a Roy tag in your inbox then.
