The magic of people coming from different worlds! Erich is a weird mix of "I am much older than I look" and "I actually have no experience with the outside world"... so, yeah he is absolutely going to take Five seriously.

What a good man, despite the attitude. And Erich doesn't mind grumpy, his father is famous for never smiling once.

If you can get past his attitude, Five is great lmfao Five is a bit less #Traumatized by his father b/c of the many... many decades of removal from him but like... this John Mulaney quote is actually super accurate to how Reginald saw/treated his kids t b h soooo... there might even be some common ground there??? fjdklsdj

Five can 100% walk in and be the competent one and Erich will follow!

And now I'm interested, I need to check his canon. Also bonding over how their dad messed up with them? I mean, this Erich is taken after his story so his relationship with his father is healing, but if he feels petty enough he may let himself go in that sense.

And don't get him started on his mother.

Oh boy, if you wanna do that let me direct you first to the comics. But the show on Netflix is also pretty solid (some very awful writing choices in s3 aside... still not okay with some of the Things that Happened there ffff). I think I'd prefer the comics? I will be honest, I am slow at consuming new content nowdays so anything I can just slowly scroll down at my own peace would be for the best. And no, I don't need any real content warning| While there are topics I don't necessarily enjoy, there's nothing I just can't handle.

They're on ReadComicsOnline! You could poke at your leisure. There are some pretty big differences between the two but the main core is still there in both versions! (and like most ppl who play from comics-based-media, I def use certain aspects of the comics for history/flavor reasons in my interpretation anyway fjdklsfjd).
